Unfortuntely for me, the second Million Man March is a few days before the 100 Year Starship Symposium, an event I really hate to miss. Created by the first African American female in space, Dr. Mae Jemison, the 100YSS is "pushing radical leaps in knowledge, technology design and human systems for interstellar travel."
From Ocotber 29 to November 1st, NASA scientists, engineers, and experts come together and present "tracks" lectures covering Interstellar travel, propulsion and energy, star systems and destinations, communications, life in space and more.
This year's symposium is entitled " Finding Earth 2.0" and will be held in an epicenter of high tech innovation and big thinking....Silicon Valley. For more details go to http://100yss.org/symposium/2015
