Mystery solved?

The verdict is in. KIC 8462852 is not the alien megastructure we were hoping for surrounding a distance star. But keep in mind, this was just one mysterious star 1500 light years away. As Carl Sagan pointed out, there are billions and billions of stars in our galaxy alone..... and there are millions (plural) of galaxies in the Universe. This still allows for correctness and positive outcome to that old question.... are we alone? The Math suggests that we are not, and with an estimated 100 billion earth like planets within the Milky Way, it appears that the God has a meaningful purpose for humanity. I look forward to the next mystery from the cosmos.
